🌿 SIP & SOOTHE WEDNESDAY 🌿

Every Wednesday we're going to share a simple little herbal tea blend from the Willow & Sage kitchen.

Nothing complicated.
Nothing fancy.
Just plants, a warm cup and a few quiet minutes for yourself. ☕🤎

This week's brew: EXHALE TEA

Perfect for those evenings when your shoulders are somewhere around your ears and your brain has decided bedtime is the perfect time to remember absolutely everything. 😂

🌿 1 tsp rooibos
🌼 1 tsp chamomile
💜 ½ tsp lavender
🫚 A small slice of fresh ginger
🍯 A little honey if you like

Add hot water, steep for 7–10 minutes, strain and sip slowly.

And while you're drinking it…

Drop your shoulders.
Unclench your jaw.
Breathe.

Sometimes the remedy isn't only what's in the cup. 🌿

Today I looked out my window and there was a little squirrel, just going about his business like he owned the place. 🐿️😂

Then I walked through the tea garden and noticed how much life is starting to wake up around Willow & Sage.

Our beautiful African Iris is flowering, the grapevine is coming back to life… and then I found this. 💜

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

In our family, this little flower has always been our Forget Me Not.
It reminds me of the women I come from.
My Gran Kitty. 🤍
My Aunty Elsabe 🤍
My Mommy ♥️
My Aunty Marina. ♥️

Gran and Aunty Elsabe have been gone for some years now, but one smell of this flower and suddenly you are back there…

Family Sundays in Granny’s garden.
It started with them and was passed down to our generation — me and my four cousins 🤍 ♥️ ♥️ ♥️— and one day we will pass it on to ours and too each other's

Yesterday.
Today.
Tomorrow.
Forget me not. 💜

And somehow, out of all the places it could have been growing…
it is now flowering in the tea garden at Willow & Sage.

I think that might be my favourite little discovery here yet.

🐾 A LITTLE RESCUE GIRL LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME 🐾

Somehow the little lost souls keep finding their way to me. 😂❤️
And as much as I would love to keep every single one… I simply can’t.

This beautiful little girl came to us very scared and unsure of everything around her. We don’t know much about her history, or exactly what breed she is.

What we do know is that she has a very healthy appetite 😆, she is starting to become playful and cheeky, and once she feels safe she absolutely knows how to make herself comfortable — the couch has already been claimed. 😂

She is slowly learning that people can be kind and that a home can be a safe place.

I would really love to find her a gentle, patient and loving forever family — someone who understands that a rescue pup may need a little time to trust, settle and show her full personality.

Please, this is not about simply finding her a home.
I want to find her the right home. ❤️

We are still at the very beginning of our Willow & Sage journey, and there is something quite special about being part of a place while it is still growing. 🤍

Our garden, courtyard and indoor spaces are ready to start welcoming beautiful celebrations — even though we are still slowly building, adding and improving as we go.

For our opening period, we are offering our venue at:
