Today we honour our tiniest patients!
For those needing surgery, the operating field can be as small as a bar of soap and the suture as fine as a strand of hair. Yet even these challenges feel small compared to the strength and determination these little ones show as they fight to recover.
Thinking of all the tiny warriors and their families today! 🫶🏼

After one big surgical adventure in theatre and many days in the NICU, we say farewell to this brave little jellybean and her wonderful mother.
May they have countless joyful days and cherished memories ahead. Moments like these remind me why I chose this path 🫶🏼

Today is World Cancer Day 🎗️

Every cancer journey is unique, with its own challenges and triumphs. Yet, those touched by cancer are united in their shared goals: to fight, heal, and support.

As a paediatric surgeon, I play a vital role in the diagnosis, staging, and treatment of certain childhood cancers. This includes performing biopsies, placing chemoports, and removing tumours from the kidney, liver, go**ds, and soft tissues.

Together, we continue the fight, raise awareness, and support those in need.
