Primitive people recognised and used beeswax and honey as an antiseptic aid for healing wounds. The honeybee secretes beeswax to build the walls of the honeycomb. Simply Bee is a family orientated business! Our dad, Derick Hugo started with beekeeping in 1954 and kept it as a hobby that grew into a business in 1994 when he and our mom, Marie returned to Hopefield to retire.
