Key Takeaways from NSBC Africa — TransUnion

Today’s session with Lee Naik from TransUnion really reinforced something important for me as an entrepreneur:

A great business idea is not enough — you have to make the possibility investable.

A few lessons I’m taking with me:
🔹 Make Possibility Investable — Don’t just communicate the vision. Show how the opportunity can become a viable, scalable business.
🔹 Lingo Matters — Learn the language of business, finance, credit and investment. How you communicate your business can influence how it is perceived.
🔹 Be Presentable — Your business should look and operate like a business that is ready for the opportunities you’re asking for.
🔹 Know Your Credit — Understand your personal and business credit profile and build it intentionally.
🔹 Have a Solid Business Plan — Your vision needs structure, numbers, strategy and a clear path to ex*****on.
🔹 Credit Matters — Building a credible financial track record is part of building a credible business.
🔹 Visibility = Trust — If people cannot see your business, understand what you do, or verify your presence in the market, it becomes harder to build confidence and trust.

As I continue building N**e Green, these lessons are a powerful reminder that preparation is part of the investment.

I’m not just building a company.

I’m building a business that can be trusted, understood, invested in and scaled.

Thank you Lee Naik and TransUnion for the valuable insights.

Nutrition plays a critical role throughout an athlete’s training and performance journey. What you eat before, during, and after exercise can influence energy availability, performance, recovery, adaptation, and long-term health.

In this video, we explore the importance of nutrition across the different phases of sports practice:
🏃🏽 Pre-Practice — Fuel the body and prepare for performance.
💪🏽 During Practice — Support energy, hydration, focus, and endurance.
🔄 Post-Practice — Replenish nutrients, repair muscle, rehydrate, and support recovery.
📈 Adaptation Phase — Provide the nutrients needed for training adaptations and performance improvements.
🌿 Maintenance Phase — Sustain energy, support health, reduce injury risk, and maintain consistency.

The goal isn't simply to eat more — it's to fuel strategically for what your body needs at each stage.

Fuel Right. Perform Strong. Recover Smart. 💚
