Post op ward rounds: The pinker the tongue the better, go on and stick your tongue 😛 out, I don’t mind. An empty plate says your appetite is good. Gynaecologists are obsessed with urine. It’s because we operate very near pipes that carry urine to the bladder, they can become injured in the process. Flatulence is perfume to our nostrils, it tells us the bowel is working. Lastly, a patient asking: when can I go home? Is a well patient.
