“Walking is man’s best medicine.” These are words were spoken more than 2,000 years ago.

Physical activity is not just about fitness or appearance. It is a simplest and most powerful gifts for promoting health, preventing disease, improving mental wellbeing, and enhancing quality of life.

🚶🏽‍♂️ Take a walk. 🌱 Work in the garden. 🧹 Stay active around the home. 💪 Move your body regularly.
Remember, the most effective exercise programme is not the most expensive one. It is the one you do consistently.

Please take some time to listen to Dr Kunene’s latest podcast episode about The Medicine of Physical Activity: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2538033/episodes/19531349
Discover why movement is essential for life and why exercise is increasingly recognised as one of the most powerful medicines available.

This week’s challenge:
Take a Movement Audit. Track your sitting time, look for opportunities to move more, and take short movement breaks throughout the day.
The most powerful medicine may not be found in a bottle. It may be found in your next walk.
