We can be very quick to wash and dress newborns these days, but ideally you and baby should just be hanging out skin to skin for the first couple of hours - settling baby into their body, getting used to each other’s smell and establishing feeding.🤱

If mom is being cared for for any reason, then a birth partner can do skin to skin instead - it still has great benefits for baby 💜

Course Details: (Classes run over two days) ⤵️
▪️𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲: Genesis Clinic, Saxonwold
▪️𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: Saturday, 18 April and Sunday, 19 April 2026
▪️𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 9:00am to 3:30pm
▪️𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁: R3300 per couple (partners are included)
▪️𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁: A deposit of R2200 secures your spot
