Sibambene Development Communications & Sibambene Trust Sibambene's work THIS PAGE IS AN ARCHIVE OF THE WORK OF JANINE SIMON MEYER and PATRICK COCKAYNE THROUGH THEIR ORGANISATION, SIBAMBENE, from 2002 through 2015.

JANINE and PATRICK ceased to operate through SIBAMBENE mid-2015 but continue separately to provide consultative services in development communications. Sibambene (we stand together) developed communication strategies and processes to enable communities, organisations and individuals to use the full power of communication for change and development. We supported development interventions with training and capacity building as well as ongoing support and mentoring. We advocated for participatory approaches to communication and development. Sibambene worked with a wide range of development agents - including communities, governments, NGOs, CBOs, business, labour and organisations and individuals committed to development, individual and social.
