Have you checked your posture?☝️

Whether you’re sitting at your desk working on your laptop, or driving to your destination - take a moment to notice how your body is positioned. Sit or stand tall, relax your shoulders, and gently realign. Breathe, one, two and three🌬

Then pause and stretch, some simple movements can release tension, improve circulation, and help reset your body.

Your posture affects how you feel, so be kind to your body. It’s carrying you through everything.

We incorporated 'Stimpod' into our patient's treatment and we saw a huge improvement thereafter, she was able to go back to yoga and pilates without any pain.

There are new technologies that can support physiotherapy treatment for a range of conditions that are linked to nerve irritation and chronic pain.

Sciatica is one of the most common nerve-related conditions we treat in practice. It refers to irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve, the largest nerve in the body, which runs from the lower back through the hips, buttocks, and down each leg. When this nerve is affected, it can cause pain that radiates along its pathway, often described as sharp, burning, or shooting. Some people also experience tingling, numbness, or weakness in the leg or foot.
Sciatica is not a condition in itself, but rather a symptom of an underlying issue such as a disc bulge, spinal stenosis, or muscular tightness placing pressure on the nerve.

Looking for a treatment that focuses on restoring nerve signals? The Stimpod could be the answer!

The small but mighty device works by stimulating the nervous system to help restore healthy communication between the brain and the body. When nerves are disrupted or irritated, pain signals can become amplified or “stuck,” leading to discomfort, inflammation, or poor function.

By targeting nerve signals directly, the treatment helps:
✨ Calm overactive pain pathways
✨ Support natural nerve communication
✨ Encourage the body’s healing response
✨ Improve movement and function
✨ Reduce discomfort without invasive treatment

We would love to discuss your healing journey with you!

Your pain isn’t always just “tight muscles” — sometimes the nerve pathway itself needs attention. ⚡

The Stimpod goes beyond temporary relief by working deep within the tissue to stimulate nerve regeneration, reactivate dormant neural pathways, and improve muscle activation where your body needs it most.

Less masking symptoms. More restoring function. 💪✨

If pain, weakness, or recurring injuries are holding you back, it may be time to treat the source — not just the symptoms.

Book with Liora Leslie Physiotherapy and experience the difference.

Sometimes the goal of treatment is not only to relax muscles but also to calm how the nervous system responds to pain.

Pain is not always only about tight muscles or injured tissue. Sometimes the nervous system stays in a heightened protective state, making pain feel stronger and last longer. Through gentle stimulation and hands-on treatment, we can help calm pain pathways, reduce sensitivity, and support the body’s natural healing process.

As physiotherapists, we help calm overactive pain signals and support the nervous system’s response to pain through targeted hands-on treatment.

Pain is often influenced by how the nervous system processes and amplifies nerve signals through your body. We use a holistic physiotherapy approach to help regulate pain signals and support recovery throughout the body.

By stimulating specific points along these pathways, we aim to regulate nerve activity, decrease sensitivity, and restore more normal signalling. This creates better healing, improved movement, and longer-lasting pain relief.
A more integrated approach to treating pain not just the symptoms, but the nervous system behind it.
