Your cardiovascular system is more than just your heart πŸ’“

It is an entire network made up of the heart, blood vessels, and your blood flowing through your body.

Together, these deliver oxygen and nutrients to every cell, organ and muscle, which keeps you alive and moving πŸ’€ πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Exercise helps your cardiovascular system become stronger and more efficient, which is why movement plays such a role in recovery, performance and health πŸ«€

Triceps vs Biceps?

Back vs Front of the arm πŸ’ͺ

Our bicep muscle action = bending the arm
Our tricep muscle action = straighten the arm

Balance is key - training one without the other can lead to imbalance 😣

Sitting all day? Your upper back is paying the price πŸ™πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Key muscles like your trapezius and rhomboids help to:
πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈmaintain posture
πŸ’†πŸ» support the shoulders and neck
πŸ€• reduce neck and back muscle spasms

Weak muscles in the upper back can lead to slouching posture and discomfort.
To train these muscles - we focus on pulling exercises! πŸ’ͺ🏻

Shoulder stability isn't just muscle - it's ligaments too! πŸ’ͺ🏻
Our ligaments connect bone to bone, and keep your shoulder joint secure.

πŸ”‘ Key ligaments in our shoulder joint:
1. Glenohumeral = front support
2. Acromioclavicular = top of shoulder
3. Coraciclavicular = stabilize collar bone

Injury to these ligaments may cause pain, instability and increase ones risk of a dislocation
