On Saturday morning, a beautiful group gathered at Windrush Studio for a grounded and heartfelt introduction to Huachuma (San Pedro cactus).

Together we explored the history, traditions, and cultural significance of this sacred plant, learning how to approach it with respect, intention, and reverence.

Participants were guided through the process of preparing their own piece of cactus, gaining practical knowledge while deepening their understanding of the relationship between people, plants, and nature.

What unfolded was more than a workshop. It was a space of curiosity, learning, meaningful conversation, and connection.

Kirtan at Windrush Studio | Blessings

Friday evening’s gathering was a gentle reminder that blessings are often found in the simplest moments.

Through music, mantra, shared voices, and community, we took time to slow down, be present, and appreciate what is already here. We meditated, we breathed, we sang, we listened, some danced and some simply soaked in the atmosphere, each connecting in their own way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of gratitude, harmony, and heart-centred connection. A beautiful reminder that blessings are everywhere when we take the time to notice them. Looking forward to the next Kirtan here at Windrush Studio with Music&Mantra!

Join us for a grounded and intentional morning of learning, connection, and hands-on experience with Huachuma (San Pedro cactus) — a plant that has been used for centuries in traditional practices for insight, heart-opening, and deep connection with nature.
This workshop is designed to offer both practical knowledge and respectful understanding of the plant.
