Eating the rainbow because apparently adulting means looking after yourself now. 🌈😂

Pesto & couscous salad loaded with roasted veggies.
A little bowl of goodness. Apparently I’m being responsible today. 🥗😝

Sunday reset thought before the week begins.

The most underrated skill you’ll ever develop is the ability to genuinely enjoy your own life. Not someday, when you’ve healed enough, earned enough, or finally figured everything out. Now.

Because your life isn’t waiting for you somewhere in the future, it’s being built in the way you experience this ordinary Sunday, this cup of coffee, this conversation, this sunset, this breath.

“You’re still a rockstar,” I whisper to myself at 6pm on a Friday night, as I sip my tea and gather my heating pad, weighted blanket, 20 vitamins, water bottle, blue light glasses, heater and house slippers. 😂

Never thought I’d be the cool aunt cheering and watching my nephew play rugby from the sidelines like I personally trained him, but here I am absolutely nailing it! 🏉😂

So proud of this little guy. ❤️

When someone is caught in the storm, that is not the time to explain the weather… this is not the time to ask “why didn’t you bring an umbrella?” because in this moment they
don’t need a forecast… they need help.

They need someone to walk over to them… they need to know they’re not alone, that someone cares enough
to help them.

They need someone who opens their umbrella and says “I’m here to help you. Let’s get to safety.”

You can talk about umbrellas another time… but in the middle of the storm? What they need most is company, not commentary. All they need is someone who refuses to leave them in the rain.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for someone who is struggling isn’t give them advice.

It’s showing up.

It’s sitting beside them when they don’t know what to say.
Checking in even when they’ve gone quiet. Listening without judgment. Reminding them they don’t have to figure everything out right now.

You don’t always need the perfect words to help someone through a hard time.

Sometimes you just need to open your umbrella and stand in the rain with them.

Be that someone. ☔️❤️
