🚑 HELEN JOSEPH ED VOLUNTEERING RECAP 🚨
Over the past year, our PhysSoc committee has had the privilege of volunteering in the Helen Joseph Emergency Department, and earlier this year our subcommittee joined the programme too. 💙
Volunteering on Friday and Saturday evenings has given our members the chance to learn from incredible healthcare professionals, gain real clinical exposure, and build a deeper appreciation for emergency medicine.
Thank you to the Helen Joseph ED team for welcoming us, sharing your knowledge, and trusting us to learn alongside you. Your support means so much to every student who has been part of this. 🤍

Our steering team took on a full overnight shift from sunset to sunrise.🌅
Daunting at first, but with the brilliant guidance of the doctors on call, we learned new skills, spoke with patients, and saw how the ED really works through the night. 💙
