The heart’s electromagnetic field.

"The HeartMath Institute has been conducting research for the past two decades on the power of the human heart. They have determined that the heart is the most powerful electromagnetic energy generator in the human body. Its electrical field is about 60 times greater in amplitude than that of the brain. The heart’s magnetic field, on the other hand, is 5000 times greater in strength than the field generated by the brain. The heart’s Electromagnetic Field (EMF) is toroidal in shape, and it envelops every cell of the human body. Our heart EMF extends out in all directions and directly affects other people’s brainwaves that are within eight to ten feet (on average) of where we are. People further away (up to 15 feet) are also affected but in more subtle ways. The heart EMF, just like the Auric field, fluctuates in size along the horizontal plane, expanding and contracting like a living, breathing organism. Since HearthMath’s discoveries about the power of the heart are relatively new, many researchers have suggested that the heart EMF and the Auric field are the same thing since both are toroidal in shape, and both are expressive of our electromagnetic energies. My belief, formed through extensive research and Divine guidance, is that they are two-separate but interconnected electromagnetic fields. The Auric field is a composite of the different subtle energies that express the Major and Transpersonal Chakras, which vibrate at various electromagnetic frequencies. The Auric field also contains other subtle fields that connect us to other living beings, the Planet Earth and the Universe. "At the foundation of the human energy system lies a profound truth: duality is built into our very being. Every person carries both masculine and feminine currents—active and receptive, projective and absorptive—flowing through the Seven Chakras. These are not abstract ideas, but living forces that shape how we think, feel, act, and experience reality. The Chakras themselves are expressions of this polarity, each one leaning toward either a masculine or feminine quality while still containing both. Together, they form a dynamic system through which consciousness evolves.

Each Chakra is a spinning vortex of energy, radiating outward from the body and interacting with the world around us. Their direction of spin reflects whether they are projecting energy or receiving it. When a Chakra is strong and active, it projects outward—expressing the inner Light of the individual into the world. When it is weakened or imbalanced, it draws energy inward, often relying on external sources to compensate. This constant exchange between giving and receiving determines not only the strength of the Chakra, but the coherence of the entire energetic system.

Balance is the key. When the Chakras are synchronized—spinning in harmony like gears in a finely tuned machine—the energy system becomes powerful, stable, and self-sustaining. But when one Chakra is overactive or underactive, the entire system is affected. Too much projection without grounding leads to depletion, while excessive receptivity invites foreign energies that can distort and block the flow.
