[πIN PICTORIAL πΈ] FRANCES BAARD DISTRICT HOLDS CLINICAL BRIEF FOR PRIMARY HEALTH CARE FACILITIES π₯
Today, the Frances Baard District held a Clinical Brief for Primary Health Care facilities at the Frances Baard District boardroom. A clinical brief for a Community Health Centre in South Africa outlines the operational capacity, governance, and health service packages required to deliver 24-hour primary and district-level care under the Ideal Community Health Centre Framework. Today's session focused on aligning our Primary Health Care facilities with this framework, assessing what is required to strengthen their capacity to provide comprehensive, round-the-clock care to communities.
The District wishes to assure our communities that little by little, we are in the process of upgrading our facilities so that we can meet the needs of our communities. The clinical brief is part of this ongoing journey of improvement, where we plan not only for infrastructure upgrades but also for the necessary human resources, governance structures, and expanded service packages. This ensures that our Primary Health Care facilities evolve to meet the growing demand for quality healthcare closer to home.
These clinical briefs show that we are working tirelessly to cater for our clients and to build a health system that truly serves its people. All of this work is grounded in the Batho Pele Principles, which remind us to put people first through consultation, service standards, access, courtesy, information, openness and transparency, redress, and value for money. We remain committed to ensuring that our facilities embody these principles by providing care that is dignified, accessible, and responsive.
