⚠️ Measles: More Serious Than You Think! Most children with measles may be sick for less than a week and start to feel better a few days after the rash appears, but recovery doesn’t always mean the danger is over.
😷 A cough can last for up to two weeks, and some children may develop complications like ear infections, pneumonia, diarrhoea, or vomiting.
🚨 In more severe cases, measles can lead to serious complications such as:
• Pneumonia
• Severe diarrhoea
• Ear infections
• Blindness
• Brain swelling
💔 Measles can also weaken your child’s immune system, making them more vulnerable to other infections long after they recover.
💛 Protect your child by staying informed and up to date with vaccinations.
