General De La Rey Hospital honoured World Breastfeeding Week by educating patients, mothers and visitors on the importance of breastfeeding.

As part of the awareness initiative, the hospitalโ€™s dietitian took patients and visitors through the breastfeeding process, including the correct way to hold and position a baby while feeding, how long babies are recommended to be exclusively breastfed, and the nutritional benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and baby.

The initiative formed part of the hospitalโ€™s commitment to empowering mothers with the knowledge and confidence needed to give their babies the best possible start in life. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿคฑ๐Ÿฝ
