For many young girls, having a period should never mean missing school, feeling embarrassed or having to choose between menstrual products and other basic necessities.

As part of our commitment to supporting the communities we serve, Life Midmed Hospital recently donated sanitary pads to Steve Tshwete Boarding School, helping provide learners with access to essential menstrual hygiene products.

Period poverty is more than a lack of sanitary products, it can affect a young girl’s confidence, dignity, wellbeing and ability to participate fully in school and everyday life.

Through initiatives like this, we hope to make a small but meaningful difference, while encouraging open conversations around menstrual health and reminding young girls that their periods should never stand in the way of their dreams.

Together, we can help create a community where every girl can face each day with dignity, confidence and pride. For more on our services visit our website on https://bit.ly/3LNzef8 or contact Life Midmed Hospital on 013 283 8701
