I left my home and 27 year real estate career behind me in 2023 to travel Europe for 12 months. I settled in Keurboomstrand, Plettenberg Bay upon my return and I’ve dedicated the last two years to my own personal expansion and the development of my next chapter by surrendering to my soul and being of service to those seeking what I have to contribute. Born in South Africa, Pixie grew up attending the Sivananda School of Yoga in Johannesburg, where her mother was a yoga teacher. After high school, her journey took her to study in the Netherlands, then to London, the Caribbean, Mozambique, the English countryside and, eventually, back home to South Africa. Along the way she met her husband, raised two children and developed a deepening interest in holistic wellbeing, yoga and the mind-body connection.
Pixie has always been fascinated by the body’s innate capacity to restore balance when given the right support and environment. For this reason, she does not see herself as a healer. Instead, she believes her role is to create the conditions in which people can reconnect with themselves, slow down, regulate, reflect and access their own inner resources.
Her work brings together yoga, meditation, breath work, Reiki, crystal therapy, sound and integrative wellness coaching. After establishing her wellness practice in the UK, Pixie now lives and works in Plettenberg Bay, where, together with her family, she created Forest and Soul as a space for rest, reconnection and wellbeing in nature.
