There was great interest in my Apitherapy info stand, which is exciting, as this is an up and coming natural healing modality in SA and we need to create awareness about this on the ground! Apitherapy is the ethical and sustainable use of bee products (from honey to bee venom and everything in-between) for healing of people, plants and animals. The bees provide us with an assortment of amazing natural remedies which can be used individually or in combination with each other and/or other supportive substances, herbs, etc to provide healing and nutritional support to enhance wellbeing and recovery from illness. 🐝
We have establish the Apitherapy Association of SA and have made a start at getting Apitherapy on the map in our richly resourced honeybee country. 🍯
