A Lifetime of Teaching. A Community’s Chance to Give Back.
For decades, David has devoted his life to the study and teaching of Iyengar Yoga. Through his unwavering commitment to the practice, his depth of knowledge, and his quiet generosity, he has guided and inspired hundreds of students across South Africa and beyond. For many, he has been far more than a teacher—he has been a mentor, a source of wisdom, and a steady presence through life’s challenges.
Today, David needs our support.
David has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. His condition has deteriorated rapidly, and he is no longer able to continue teaching—the vocation that has been both his life’s work and his only source of income.
As he navigates this difficult journey, we are asking the community whose lives he has touched to help lighten the financial burden of his medical and living expenses.
If David’s teaching has ever inspired your practice, helped you through a difficult time, or enriched your understanding of yoga, this is an opportunity to give something back.
Please visit David’s website, where you can either support by:
🧘 Purchasing his e-books and instructional videos (greatly discounted for this purpose) , ensuring that his years of knowledge continue to benefit students for generations to come.
💙 Or, if you prefer, make a donation of any amount. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
If you are unable to contribute financially, you can still help by sharing this post with fellow students, teachers, friends and family. Together we can reach the many lives David has touched over the years.
David has spent a lifetime helping others find strength, balance and resilience. Now it is our turn to stand beside him with the same compassion and generosity he has so freely shared.
Thank you for supporting David during this chapter of his journey.
