School Holiday Fun Day 🎨✨

We’re hosting a Sip & Paint experience designed for children from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

A creative, fun-filled day where children get to explore art, relax, and enjoy a guided painting experience in a safe and supportive space.

Each child will recieve their own object to paint, with all painting materials provided, as well as a doughnut and milkshake included.

As a Social Worker in Private Practice doing Play Therapy, one thing I have learned is that children connect deeply through movement, play, and presence. 🤍

This weekend I had the privilege of leading our annual Mom & Me Conference Warriors of Worship Dance Ministry, where moms and daughters shared moments of dance, laughter, creativity, and connection together.💃

Beyond the fun, there was a deeper reminder: our children already carry purpose within them. Purpose is not something we create for our children, but something we help awaken through love, encouragement, connection, and safe spaces.🦋

Children flourish when they feel seen, heard, and emotionally connected. 🌸

Today I celebrate with a full heart and a heavy heart 🤍
Full because I get to be a mom to my children. Heavy because I would give anything for one more day with my own mother.

Motherhood has reminded me it's not about being perfect, but being present. The small moments matter more than we think: the cuddles, the laughter, the comfort after a hard day, the feeling of being safe and loved.⚓️

And maybe that’s why days like today feel so emotional too… because we remember the love we received, the love we miss, and the love we now give to our own children. 🌷

So if today feels heavy, joyful, complicated, or all three at once, you are not alone.🌈

We had so much fun at our Slime and Sensory School holiday program. 😃

Thanks Amy Jade’s Slime for teaching us how to make our own slime.💃💃

Thanks to all the parents who trusted us with their kids. 👏
