A much younger me... and the story behind my logo ❤️

A question I often get asked by patients is: "Why a pomegranate for my logo? " ✨

The truth is that when I started my practice, I didn't put a great deal of thought into it. The pomegranate simply felt right. But over time, I discovered just how meaningful this fruit truly is.

As a Christian, I was amazed to learn how often pomegranates are mentioned in the Bible, symbolising abundance, fruitfulness, blessing, and God's provision. They are also one of the oldest cultivated fruits, standing the test of time through generations.

What speaks to me most, however, is the fruit itself. On the outside, it has a tough, protective skin, yet inside are hundreds of beautiful ruby-red seeds full of life and nourishment. It reminds me that people are often the same — there is so much more beneath the surface than what we first see.

For me, the pomegranate represents faith, nourishment, resilience, and the beauty that comes from growth and transformation.

What started as a simple logo choice has become a meaningful reflection of both my faith and the heart behind my practice. ❤️

✨ National Dietitians Week 2026 ✨.

Good nutrition has the power to change lives.

As dietitians, we are committed to helping people make informed food choices that support their health, prevent disease, and improve quality of life. Whether it's managing diabetes, controlling blood pressure, improving energy levels, or building healthier habits, nutrition plays a vital role at every stage of life.

This week, we celebrate the profession, the science of nutrition, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Together, we can create healthier individuals, healthier families, and healthier communities.

Happy Dietitians Week from our team! 💚

Winter arrived with full force ❄️☕️
Feels like autumn was skipped completely…🍁 🍂

A simple but interesting fact:
When it’s cold, your body uses more energy to stay warm — which is why you might feel hungrier in winter.

So what should you focus on?

• Warm, balanced meals : think soups, stews, and oats that actually keep you full. 🍲
• Fibre-rich carbs : help with fullness, gut health, and steady energy.
• Protein at each meal : supports immunity and keeps hunger in check. 🥚🍗 🥩
• Hydration : we often drink less water in winter, even though we still need it. Have some herbal teas and Rooibos as a warmer alternative to cold water. ☕ 🫖
• Variety : winter diets can become repetitive, so aim to keep colours and nutrients diverse.🍅 🍊 🍌 🍏

Winter nutrition isn’t about eating less — it’s about eating well for the season 🤍
