Yesterday was dedicated to education.

Clinicians from around the world came together to share their expertise on key topics, including early diagnosis, safe examination techniques, multidisciplinary care, treatment recommendations, and the latest developments in clinical trials.

At Tin Soldiers, we are committed to strengthening our global clinician network by providing education and training through programmes like this. By equipping healthcare professionals to recognise the early signs of FOP, we can help drive earlier diagnosis, improve access to appropriate care, and ultimately make a meaningful difference in the lives of those living with FOP.

This weekend, Fundación FOP and Tin Soldiers Global are bringing together FOP families and clinicians from across Latin America for a meeting focused on connection, education, and community. We can't wait to hear about the connections made and the stories shared! 💚

Events like these play a vital role in strengthening the global FOP community, from building relationships between families to expanding healthcare provider education so more providers across the region can recognize and understand FOP.

We’re proud to be partnering with the this Mandela Day to help make a difference in the lives of children and their families.

Our team will be offering free bone, muscle and joint screenings for children, because when it comes to musculoskeletal conditions, early diagnosis can be life-changing. Identifying concerns early can lead to timely intervention, improved outcomes, and a better quality of life.

Many children do not present with obvious symptoms or complaints, which is why screening plays such a vital role in early detection and prevention.

We look forward to joining this meaningful initiative and helping more children access the care and support they need to thrive.
