This October, take a moment to get to know what’s normal for you. Regular self-checks can help you recognise changes such as a new lump, skin dimpling, ni**le discharge, or a change in the size, shape or appearance of the breast.

If you notice anything unusual, don’t ignore it — speak to your doctor for further assessment.

At N Naidoo X-Ray Services, breast ultrasound is available by appointment only. Please note that we do not offer mammography services.

Today we celebrate the beautiful mix of cultures, traditions and stories that make South Africa home.

For me, Heritage Day is also a chance to reflect on my own Indian heritage — the traditions I grew up with, the importance of family and community, and the values that have shaped who I am today.
