RH Piet Retief Private Hospital is proud to announce and warmly welcome Dr. SC Sibuyi, Specialist General Surgeon, to our growing team of healthcare professionals.
Dr. Sibuyi is a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist General Surgeon with extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of a wide range of surgical conditions. He is committed to delivering precise, evidence-based surgical care while ensuring every patient receives compassionate, patient-centred treatment.
Dr. Sibuyi obtained his MBChB after completing his medical training in Cuba. He completed his internship at the Newcastle–Madadeni Hospital Complex, followed by his community service at Delmas Hospital. He then served as a Surgical Medical Officer at Witbank Hospital, where he gained valuable experience in managing a broad spectrum of surgical cases.
He subsequently completed his specialist registrar training at the Durban Hospital Complex, earning both the Fellowship of the College of Surgeons of South Africa (FCS (SA)) through the College of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA) and a Master of Medicine in Surgery (MMed Surgery) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
