a little reminder: drink enough water, take care of your health, protect your peace, move your body, set healthy boundaries, be kind, keep learning, spend time with the people you love, make beautiful memories, appreciate the little things and keep working toward creating a life that feels peaceful, fulfilling and truly your own.🥂❤️

i wanna be peacefully in love with someone who shows me the same interest and gives me the same energy. i want to wake up everyday and sleep every night with a big smile on my face because i know i'm in love and being loved with the best person in the earth. i wanna be with someone who value and appreciates me and most of all, someone who will love my whole existence.🤍

For courage
God, make me brave enough to do what I know I need to do. Give me courage to leave unhealthy situations, start new things, speak honestly, apologize when I'm wrong, accept when I'm wrong, and keep going when I'm afraid. Don't let fear become the reason I live a smaller life than the one You intended for me.

-When I was a child, I never understood why people cried during prayer. But as I grew older, I realized that when life hits you hard, you naturally fall to your knees, pouring out your heart to God because no one can comfort you or heal you the way he does❤️

In 1969, apartheid South Africa spent R1,511 per white person on social services and just R163.19 per African.

By 1975, it spent R2,033 per white person and only R239.89 per African.

Worse still, under apartheid, a married African man with four children earning R4,000 a year paid R167.12 in income tax, while a white man in the same circumstances paid just R74.

White supremacy taxed Africans more heavily than whites earning the same income, while spending far less on their education, healthcare, housing and welfare.

Black South Africans paid taxes to a state that systematically privileged white South Africans.

Apartheid manufactured Black poverty and created white prosperity.
