🦷✨ Making oral health a priority, one smile at a time!

We had the pleasure of hosting an impactful oral health awareness and screening initiative in collaboration with POLMED, creating an opportunity to educate, engage and empower members of the community to take better care of their oral health.

From professional screenings and personalised oral hygiene guidance to meaningful conversations about prevention and maintaining a healthy smile, the day was filled with learning, connection and plenty of smiles. 🩵

We are passionate about making oral healthcare more accessible and reminding everyone that prevention is always better than cure. Your oral health is an important part of your overall wellbeing, and taking care of your smile should never be an afterthought.

A heartfelt thank you to POLMED for the opportunity to be part of this initiative, and to everyone who participated and trusted us with their oral health. We are grateful for the collaboration and the chance to continue making a positive difference in our community. 🤍

PLAQUE AND TARTAR — WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Let's talk about something that many people see on their teeth but may not fully understand.

Plaque is a sticky film that can build up on your teeth throughout the day. Regular brushing and cleaning between your teeth can help remove it.

When plaque is not effectively removed, it can harden and become tartar. Once tartar has formed, it cannot simply be brushed away with a normal toothbrush. This is where professional oral hygiene care becomes important.

Tartar can accumulate around the gumline and make maintaining good oral hygiene more difficult.

The good news? Your daily habits matter. ❤️

🪥 Brush your teeth consistently.
🦷 Clean between your teeth.
💧 Maintain good oral-hygiene habits.
👩🏽‍⚕️ Seek professional oral hygiene care when needed.

At Oral Hygiene with Ncediswa Mrwebo, we are here to help you understand your oral health and provide professional care that supports your daily routine.

Don't wait until you notice a problem before you start paying attention to your smile.

Prevention starts with understanding your oral health.

🩸🦷 DO YOUR GUMS BLEED WHEN YOU BRUSH?[we’re running a special!!R650 for teeth cleaning, limited time only‼️‼️‼️]

Have you ever noticed a little blood when brushing or flossing and thought, “It’s probably nothing”?

You're not alone. Many people ignore bleeding gums because they assume it is normal. However, bleeding can be a sign that your gums need attention and should not simply be dismissed.

Your gums play an important role in supporting your teeth, so looking after them is just as important as looking after your teeth.

Good oral hygiene includes:

🪥 Brushing properly and consistently
🦷 Cleaning between your teeth
💧 Maintaining good daily oral-hygiene habits
👩🏽‍⚕️ Getting professional oral-health guidance when needed

If you regularly experience bleeding, sensitivity, swelling or other changes in your gums, don't ignore them. A professional assessment can help you understand what may be contributing to the problem and what steps you can take to improve your oral hygiene.

At Oral Hygiene with Ncediswa Mrwebo, our goal is not only to provide professional care but also to educate you about your mouth and help you develop better long-term habits.

Your gums deserve attention too. ❤️

WHEN WAS YOUR LAST PROFESSIONAL ORAL CLEANING?

Be honest with yourself… when was the last time you had your teeth professionally cleaned? 👀

Many of us are very good at remembering to brush our teeth every morning and night, but professional oral hygiene care is also an important part of maintaining good oral health.

Plaque can accumulate on your teeth over time, and when it hardens into tartar, it cannot simply be brushed away at home. Professional cleaning can help remove these deposits and leave your teeth feeling cleaner.

A professional oral hygiene visit is also an opportunity to learn more about your oral health and receive personalised advice based on your needs.

At Oral Hygiene with Ncediswa Mrwebo, we offer professional services including:

🦷 Professional cleaning
🦷 Plaque and tartar removal
🦷 Stain removal
🦷 Oral-health assessments
🦷 Preventive care
🦷 Personalised oral-hygiene education

Taking care of your smile shouldn't only happen when there's a problem.

Make oral hygiene part of your regular self-care routine. ❤️

Because a healthy smile isn't just about how it looks—it's about how well you care for it. 🦷

🪥🦷 WHEN LAST DID YOU CHECK YOUR TOOTHBRUSH?

We often remember to buy toothpaste, but how often do you actually stop and look at your toothbrush? 👀

If the bristles are worn, flattened or damaged, it may be time to replace it.

Your toothbrush is one of the most important tools in your daily oral-hygiene routine, so make sure you're using one that is still in good condition.

And remember—having a good toothbrush is only part of the equation.

How you brush matters too.

Take your time. Be gentle around your gums. Make sure you reach all areas of your mouth and don't forget about cleaning between your teeth.

Your daily routine may seem small, but those small habits add up over time. ❤️

At Oral Hygiene with Ncediswa Mrwebo, we believe that education is an important part of oral health.

We don't just want you to have a clean smile—we want you to understand how to take better care of it every day.

🪥 Brush.
🦷 Clean between your teeth.
💧 Maintain good oral hygiene.

Give your smile the attention it deserves.

🦷 Why Circular Motions Matter

When brushing your teeth, don’t scrub aggressively back and forth. Instead, use small, gentle circular motions along the teeth and gumline.

This technique helps the bristles reach around the contours of your teeth and loosen plaque and food particles, especially where the teeth meet the gums.

💡 Think of it as polishing, not scrubbing! Too much pressure can irritate your gums and contribute to enamel wear.

Take your time, use gentle pressure, and remember: a thorough two-minute brush beats a rushed 30-second scrub every time. 🪥✨
