📢 EMPLOYER ALERT: COSATU Protest Action – Tomorrow, 7 October 2026

COSATU's nationwide protest action takes place from 09:00 to 16:30 and has been approved by NEDLAC and is therefore protected.

What you need to know:
✅ No work, no pay applies to all employees who are absent due to participation in the protest action.
🛡️ Employees may not be disciplined just for taking part.
⚠️ Misconduct during the protest can still lead to disciplinary action.

Plan for possible absenteeism and disruption and communicate your arrangements clearly to your team.
