I will absolutely take responsibility when I’m wrong, but I’ll never apologize for responding to disrespect.

If you started the fire, don’t stand in the flames pretending to be the victim. Accountability means owning your actions—not rewriting the story when someone finally responds.

You can’t provoke someone, cross their boundaries, and then act shocked when they defend themselves. Sometimes the reaction becomes the focus, while the behavior that caused it gets conveniently forgotten.

Where do you stand? Should people apologize for how they respond, even when someone else started the disrespect?

My friend told me all about her family drama… and somehow, I ended up with problems with her mother-in-law, her sister-in-law, and some guy named Steve. 😂

I was just listening, but apparently knowing the details means I’m now part of the storyline.

This is a reminder that sometimes people tell you their side of the drama, and before you know it, you’re somehow involved in a situation you never signed up for. Family drama can get complicated FAST.
