Meet Dr Daniélle Van Staden our National International speaker Yes you read right
Daniélle earned her BPharm in 2018, then completed her MSc and PhD in pharmaceutics at North-West University in Potchefstroom. She is a SACLC (2024) and a primary care drug therapy pharmacist (2023). She also recently earned certification in Natural Cosmetic Preservation and Cosmetic Stability testing from Formula Botanica in London.
Daniélle works as a postdoctoral research fellow at North-West University, where she has developed targeted drug delivery vehicles, supervised postgraduate students, and taught final-year BPharm students about lactation and medication. She has written a book chapter as the sole author, is the first author of eight articles, co-author of two, and last author of one article in international peer-reviewed journals. Daniélle also writes freelance for pharmaceutical, biomedical, and cosmetic companies. She is a member of PSSA, SACLC, SARIMA, COSCHEM, and IFSCC.
Daniélle has been internationally recognised and appointed by Elsevier as one of five ambassadors in Sub-Saharan Africa to promote the quality and integrity of research while fostering good research practices. It is here that her passion for scientific literature and communicating complex scientific concepts to the scientific community, and most importantly, parents, started. She is the founder and editor of The Science Diva, a professional newsletter writing service intended to help medical practitioners and pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies communicate the science behind their products and services to their patients and clients.
