Happy Mother’s Day

In South Africa, thousands of children face abandonment, neglect, and hardship every year. Many little hearts grow up longing for safety, comfort, and the love of someone who simply cares.

Today, we want to honor not only biological mothers but every woman who steps into a child’s life with love, kindness, patience, and grace.

To the foster moms, adoptive moms, volunteers, social workers, house mothers, caregivers, management teams, donors, and every helping hand — thank you. Because of you, so many children have a place to feel safe, valued, and loved.

Sometimes you do not have to be a full-time mom to change a child’s life forever. A mother’s heart is found in compassion, sacrifice, gentle words, warm hugs, late nights, prayers, and unconditional love.

To every person who has walked this journey with us at Tshwane Place of Safety — thank you for helping us give hope to little souls who deserve a brighter future.

May you be blessed abundantly for every seed of love you plant into the lives of children.
