The Ways Reiki Enhanced My Therapy Practice

Ren Oberhill, a licensed counselor, describes how integrating Reiki into her therapy practice transformed both her work and her clients’ healing experiences. After noticing that traditional therapeutic methods were helping clients feel better but not fully healed, she recognized a deeper issue of disconnection from the body and difficulty processing emotions.

Through her exploration of holistic practices, she discovered Reiki and found that it provided a gentle yet powerful way to support emotional awareness, self-compassion, and deeper healing. As she incorporated Reiki into her sessions, clients became more open, present with their emotions, and engaged in their own healing process.

Reiki shifted her role from guiding clients through techniques to co-creating a healing space where energy, awareness, and therapy worked together. This integration allowed for deeper transformation, helping clients access subconscious patterns, release emotional blocks, and develop a stronger connection to their own inner guidance.
