Adenomyosis is a condition whereby the cells of the endometrium grow into the muscular walls of the uterus.

Small or large masses of the endometrial cells forms in the myometrium (the middle layer of the uterus).

This condition can make it very difficult for one to conceive or carry a pregnancy to full term as it affects implantation.

Some of the common symptoms of adenomyosis includes:
• Painful Periods
• Mid cycle bleeding
• Passing extremely heavy clots
• Painful in*******se and
• Extended bleeding (way past your normal bleeding period).

Adenomyosis is extremely painful in nature and it usually disappears after menopause.
