A new season at Ink and Vine ✨

This season looks a little different - I’m in my newborn mom era, and with that, the studio has transitioned into a more home-based space.

If you’ve been with me for a while, you may have seen my older son pop in for a quick hello now and then - and now there’s just a little extra tiny human around.

This season just brings a little more of that real life into the space.

That said, your experience remains the same:
- Calm
- Clean
- Meaningful

Ink and Vine has always been a flexible, understanding, real-life friendly space - and that continues into this chapter.

💜 Closed in Solidarity | 21 November 2025 💜

On Friday, 21 November, our studio will be closed in support of the Women For Change Movement and the G20 Women’s Shutdown taking place across South Africa.

This nationwide campaign calls urgent attention to the ongoing crisis of Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) - where, heartbreakingly, a woman is killed every 2.5 hours in our country.

The movement, led by Women For Change (WFC), uses the colour purple to symbolise strength, justice, and remembrance for victims of femicide.

On this day, women and LGBTQI+ individuals are standing still - withdrawing their labour and economic participation to demand that GBVF be declared a National Disaster.

At 12:00 PM, supporters will join a 15-minute standstill, lying down in honour of the 15 women lost daily to gender-based violence.

We stand with the women of South Africa - our clients, our colleagues, our friends, our mothers, our daughters. 💜
