Yesterday, we celebrated International Day of the Family, and it got me reflecting deeply on the work I am privileged to do. ​Some of the most profound work in my practice involves walking alongside families. Every family journey is completely unique, and what "healing" looks like changes from one door to the next:
​Navigating Grief: Sometimes, it looks like gently carrying a family through the heavy fog of loss and grief. ​Reconnecting: Sometimes, it is witnessing family members find each other again after being disconnected for years.
​Safe Spaces: Often, it is creating a facilitated, mediated space where every single family member can express themselves honestly and without the fear of judgment start the journey together.
