Youth is not only about age, it’s about passion, purpose, curiosity, and the willingness to keep learning every day.

We are blessed to have a few younger faces in our team.

Young? Yes. But filled with energy, dedication, compassion, and a desire to grow and serve our patients with excellence every day.

We are excited to introduce our new receptionist, a young, vibrant bundle of joy who has already brought so much warmth and energy to our organisation.

Hardworking, caring, and always willing to go the extra mile, she reminds us every day that no task is ever too much when it comes from a heart of service.

A receptionist is often the very first person people meet when they reach out for help. They set the tone, create the first impression, and reflect the values of an organisation. In many ways, they are the heartbeat of the front office.

Part 7 of our chemo series 🎗️

Many patients ask whether they can enjoy a glass of wine during chemotherapy treatment.

The answer depends on the type of treatment you are receiving, but in general, we recommend avoiding alcohol during chemotherapy.

Chemotherapy medications are processed by the liver, which is already working hard to break down and clear treatment from the body. Adding alcohol can place additional strain on the liver and may worsen certain side effects such as dehydration, nausea, fatigue, and mouth sores.

While an occasional drink may be acceptable for some patients, it is always best to discuss alcohol use with your oncology team, as every treatment plan is different.

There will be time to raise a glass again. For now, focus on giving your body the support it needs to heal and recover. 💛

Many patients wonder whether they can continue taking vitamins and supplements during chemotherapy and treatment.

In many cases, supplements may still be used during treatment, but it is very important that your doctor is aware of everything you are taking — including vitamins, supplements, and chronic medication — to ensure there are no harmful interactions.

Supporting your overall health and immune system during treatment can play an important role in your journey, but personalised medical guidance is always essential. Every patient and treatment plan is different, which is why open communication with your healthcare team matters so much.

Always bring a list of your medications and supplements to your appointments, and never hesitate to ask questions about your treatment and wellbeing 💛
