Privileged to have Chris Smith and his wife, Wilmi, who visited us today, thanks to a referral from Lions Team doctor, Dr Ruan Genis.
Who would have thought that an Afrikaans Karoo girl and a proper English Stellenbosch gentleman would make such a great match? Yet here they are — two genuinely down to earth people with kind hearts and wonderful personalities.
Chris, we wish you every success with your rugby career and all that lies ahead. I must also admit that you are one of the very few patients I have met who truly understands the physics behind ultrasound so well. Our discussion on ultrasound physics was an unexpected highlight of the day!
