🎀 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀

This October, let’s stand together in raising awareness, encouraging early detection, and reminding every woman to know her breasts and know her normal. 💗

Breast cancer can affect anyone, and early detection can make a significant difference.

🔎 Signs & symptoms to look out for:
• A new lump or thickening in the breast or underarm
• A change in the size or shape of the breast
• Changes to the skin, such as dimpling, redness or an “orange peel” appearance
• A change in the ni**le, including inversion or unusual discharge
• Persistent pain in the breast or ni**le
• A change in the appearance or texture of the breast

Not every breast change is cancer, but any new or unusual change should be checked by a healthcare professional.

❤️ WORLD HEART DAY | 29 SEPTEMBER ❤️

Your heart works for you every single day. It deserves the same care in return.

Heart disease remains one of the world’s leading health concerns, but many of the risk factors can be identified, managed and improved.

This World Heart Day, take a moment to check in on your heart health. ❤️

🩺 Know your numbers:
• Blood pressure
• Cholesterol
• Blood sugar
• Healthy weight

🥗 Give your heart what it needs:
• Choose a balanced, nutritious diet
• Stay physically active
• Avoid smoking
• Limit excessive alcohol
• Prioritise quality sleep
• Manage stress

And remember: heart health isn’t something to think about only when something feels wrong. Regular check-ups can help identify risk factors early, sometimes before you experience any symptoms at all.

❤️ Your heart has been there for you every second of your life. Make caring for it a priority.
