Today, we celebrate a profession that is built on compassion, resilience, and hope.
Being a social worker is not just a career — it is a calling. It means standing with people in their most vulnerable moments, advocating for their rights, and walking alongside them as they rebuild their strength and dignity.
Every day, social workers make a difference in ways that are not always seen — in quiet conversations, in small breakthroughs, in moments of trust, and in the courage of those we serve.
As both a Registered Counsellor and Social Worker, I am deeply grateful to be part of a profession that empowers individuals, strengthens families, and uplifts communities.
💙 Today, I honour all social workers who continue to show up, even when the work is hard.
💙 I celebrate the resilience of our clients, who remind us daily of the power of hope.
💙 And I recommit myself to making a meaningful difference — one person, one family, one community at a time.
