When releasing the fascia changes the lymphatic response…
This client has lived with primary lymphedema since childhood, which she manages with lower-leg compression socks.
For this treatment, I integrated Reflexology Fascia Release with Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage.
The response was remarkable — as you can see in the before-and-after photographs.
I often find that when fascial restrictions are released, the lymphatic component of the treatment can respond beautifully.
This is why I love an integrated approach: working with the tissues, observing how the body responds, and adapting the treatment accordingly.
For clients with primary lymphedema, ongoing compression and appropriate medical management remain important. Reflexology is complementary to this care.
Sometimes, the body’s response is more remarkable than you expect.
