A warming thought on this brrr day❄️

We are excited to launch something NEW from Grounded with love 💚🌱

The above meal is my take on a vegan butter curry. 🍛
However, this time you won't receive the completed frozen meal 😉 - you'll receive the ingredients to make this delicious delight in your own kitchen. 👏🏻
You will receive the following:-
✅Chopped onion
✅Vegan butter curry paste (a combination of all the necessary spices)
✅Cooked rice
✅Tin of coconut milk
✅ Optional - chopped chilli (this is a mild, but tasty curry, if you need that extra bite top with chilli)

YOU WILL NEED TO ADD THE FOLLOWING:-
✅Protein of choice
✅Fresh vegetables (we will provide suggestions)

There are 2 options available: -
Feeds 2 people - R110
Feeds 5-6 people - R270

Once payment is received, we will arrange a collection date for your ingredients and recipe. We can deliver with prior arrangement or courier to you anywhere in the country. 🇿🇦

WARMING WINTER WINNER🍂
Using a GROUNDED🌿 meal as a base, made delivery of a warming, balanced & nutritious meal, super simple
on a chilly Monday evening. ✅
This is our Moroccan Mix complete with whole grains, legumes, onion, ginger, peppers, carrots, coriander & our mouth watering Moroccan sauce.🧡
I stir fried this meal, adding in fresh spinach. Then topped it with steamed broccoli, dry fried pumpkin & sunflower seeds. For a protein boost I added in crispy tofu (coating of nutritional yeast & corn flour)
VOILÀ - this little gem will tick & balance all your required vitamins & minerals. 💚🌱

As usual Jozi has skipped a season & ushered us quickly into winter.❄️
It's time for extra blankets, struggling to get out of bed & comfort food.
Remember, it's only a season. 🍂
Your body needs the same movement through all the seasons. It doesn't change the way it functions on the inside, season to season, does it?🤔

Our yoga teacher shared a lovely message on Monday that I'd like to share with you.
"MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE" ❤️
If you've known me for half a minute you'll know I blah, blah about
FOOD BEING MEDICINE 💚& that fact remains. However, life is about the BALANCE ♎ our beautiful bodies will be forever grateful if we continue through all the seasons to make clean wholefood choices & keep moving.
So when I say your health is in your hands 🙏🏻- be conscious about the choice at the end of your fork or in your glass & be conscious about how you move everyday.
These two choices reflect how you move through life. 👣

MONDAY MOTIVATION for health🌱

Great goodness in one bowl - let's go..
✅Crispy chickpeas my fav. Drain a tin and rinse well, then dry gently with a dish cloth until the skins start to peel. In an air fryer dry out at 180deg for about 20mins. Then drizzle with some olive oil and your fav. dry spices. I used cumin & a delicious Moroccan spice, gifted from a client. 🙏🏻 Return to the air fryer for another 10-15mins.
✅ Cooked sweet potatoes fried in spices and coconut oil.
✅ Cooked barley with split peas, fried with onion.
✅Blanched green beans with Grounded's sundried tomatoes. Our marinated brinjals will also be the bomb here.
✅Chopped cucumber
✅Sliced Avo
✅ Generous serving of baby spinach
✅The bowl is lined with Grounded's hummus and the bottom of the bowl is coated with our Moroccan sauce.
✅The grand finalé a sprinkle of capers and toasted sesame seeds.
