Possibly one of the worst, and definitely the most feared, diseases of all time.
Every 5 minutes, someone in the world is diagnosed with MS.
Today, on the first day of MS Awareness Month, we bring that reality home to South Africa πΏπ¦
Fewer than 5,000 people are known to be living with MS in this country.
That number does not reflect how many are still undiagnosed, misdiagnosed, or struggling to access care.
MS is often diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40.
Careers. Families. Futures. Interrupted.
In South Africa, the challenge is not only the condition itself.
It is delayed diagnosis.
It is limited access to treatment.
It is living with an invisible condition in systems that are not built to support it.
This month is not about awareness alone.
It is about visibility that leads to action.
π Move. Share. Support.

Because awareness in South Africa must translate into something more.
Access. Advocacy. Impact.
