Tshela Healthcare was privileged to participate in the School Girls Health Seminar hosted by Bertha Gxowa Hospital on 26 August 2026.
The initiative brought together healthcare professionals, learners and other stakeholders for important conversations about the health and wellbeing of young women, including teenage pregnancy and reproductive health, mental wellbeing, nutrition and physical wellness, substance abuse, digital safety, cyberbullying, and setting healthy boundaries.
Our CEO, Dr Tshegofatso Gopane, contributed to the programme's discussion on Teenage Pregnancy and Reproductive Health & Facts, engaging learners on an issue that requires not only clinical awareness, but accessible information, early support and empowered decision-making.
Tshela Healthcare also had the opportunity to introduce learners to FemiHealth, our women's health platform designed to provide trusted health information, personalised guidance and practical tools across different stages of a woman's health journey.
As part of our participation, Tshela Healthcare distributed wellness packs to attendees, reinforcing our commitment to taking health education beyond conversation and into practical, meaningful support.
We thank Bertha Gxowa Hospital and the Gauteng Department of Health for creating a platform where young women could ask questions, learn and engage openly about their health.
Empowered girls make informed choices. Informed choices contribute to healthier futures.
