Grief is often explained in “stages” — as if it’s something you move through step by step until you’re done 👣😓

But in reality, grief is far more complex than that. It can feel messy, unpredictable, and overwhelming. One moment you may feel okay, and the next, the loss can hit just as deeply as it did in the beginning.

This doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.
It doesn’t mean you’re not healing.
It means your mind and body are trying to process something that has changed your world.

Grief isn’t about forgetting or “moving on.” It’s about learning to live with the loss, while still allowing yourself to feel, remember, and heal in your own time.

There is so much more to bipolar disorder than what we see on the surface 😫

For many, it’s not just about “highs” and “lows” — it’s about navigating intense shifts in mood, energy, and functioning that can feel unpredictable and, at times, overwhelming. Yet behind that experience is something often overlooked: strength.

This year’s theme, , reminds us to shift the narrative — from stigma and misunderstanding to resilience, awareness, and compassion 💛💪🏼

Living with bipolar disorder requires courage. Seeking help requires courage. Continuing to show up, even on the hardest days, requires courage.

Awareness is not just about knowing the symptoms — it’s about changing how we respond to people:
• With empathy instead of judgment
• With curiosity instead of assumptions
• With support instead of silence

Because when we understand better, we support better. Bipolar disorder is a real, manageable condition — and with the right support, many people live full, meaningful lives.

Today is a reminder to keep learning, keep talking, and keep creating spaces where people feel seen — not defined by a diagnosis, but supported in their humanity.
