As some of you know. This will be last week working at .tattoo.studio and it is all getting abit real.

There's so many things I could say but the words are hard to find. But thank you to the Ink family for making me who I am today. You have been there through the good and bad ❤️.

To all the awesome champions who have supported me along my path and all the friends I have made along the way, thank you for everything. You guys are the real rockstars.

This isn't goodbye forever and I will still be visiting Cape Town from time to time.

I love you all and thank you for the memories ❤️

On the left, you have a piercing needle, and on the right you have a piercing gun stud that is used in a piercing gun (and other hand-pressure piercing devices).
Piercing needles are sharp and cause the least amount of damage when put through the skin. Once pierced, high-quality jewelry is inserted that will fit appropriately for the area based on your anatomy. Being pierced with a needle and quality jewelry reduces irritation and scarring so your piercing can heal properly and stay healthy for the long term! Though the piercing gun stud feels pointy, they are not very sharp at all. The studs are generally made with poor quality metal and are one-size-fits-all, which is not how bodies work as everyone has different anatomy. When this blunt jewelry is forced through the ear with the gun, it can cause blunt force trauma. This trauma can lead to a large amount of damage, especially in the cartilage, like bumps, prolonged discomfort, and poor healing, in which the end result is removal of the piercing.
It's no secret these days that piercing guns are unsafe and can cause significant damage to the tissue being pierced. So be smart when getting pierced!
