WHO COULD BE A VICTIM OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE?

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) does not discriminate. Anyone can experience GBV, regardless of age, gender, ability, identity or background. Women and girls remain disproportionately affected, while men and boys, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, children and older persons can also experience different forms of GBV, including physical, s*xual, emotional, psychological, social and economic abuse.

Higher Health is committed to strengthening GBV prevention and response across 26 public universities, 50 TVET colleges and 9 CET colleges through health promotion, psychosocial support, awareness initiatives and response services.
