The light in me sees the light in you. ✨

💭 could Living Namaste be about learning to see beyond the surface.

Beyond opinions, Beyond differences, Beyond the things we agree or disagree about.

Not because we are all the same, not because we need to agree with one another but because beneath all our stories and experiences, we share something very human.

We feel, We love, We hurt, We hope, We need connection 🩷

We can hold boundaries and still hold compassion, we can disagree and still see the person in front of us, we can choose curiosity instead of judgement.

✨ The light in me sees the light in you ✨

A special morning shared with a forest fairy 🧚‍♀️ friend, bringing the forest indoors 🌲🍂 While nature was nourishing herself outdoors in the rain 🌧️, she created a beautiful space filled with leaves, pine needles, branches, earth, blooms and a special tea ceremony.

All our senses came alive as though we were immersed inside the forest.

We paused | We breathed | We meditated | We listened | We simply let ourselves be.

In the moment of “being” I couldn’t help but think about this month’s theme… Living Namaste.

Maybe it’s not always about having things exactly as we imagined maybe it’s about being present with what is. Appreciating nature indoors instead of outdoors we found beauty in a different kind of experience. Letting go of perfect but it was a Imperfectly perfect moment 🤍

Sometimes we don’t need to change the moment. We simply need to be present enough to experience it.

There are moments when life asks us to react or respond

A message, A conversation, A difficult situation, A thought that catches us off guard and sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is create space between what happens and how we respond or react

🪷 Pause | Breathe | Notice
🪷 Move your Body
🪷 Witness the thoughts & feelings
🪷 Release the need to control

ans CHOOSE to come back to yourself 🩷

This is part of what Living Namaste means to me,
not perfection….

Just the practice of returning!

Living Namastè 🪷🙏🏻🧘🏼‍♀️

Namastè is a word many of us know from our yoga practice and teachings…

This month, I’m interested in moving a little deeper:

What happens when we begin to live it?

Not perfectly | Not all the time
and certainly not by agreeing with everyone or losing our own boundaries but by learning to:

🪷 Pause before we react

🪷 To listen a little more deeply

🪷 To meet ourselves with compassion

🪷 To recognise the humanity in the person standing in front of us

🪷 To return, again and again, to that quieter place within ourselves

Out yoga practice doesn’t really end when we roll up our mat, it joins us in our conversations,
comes with us into our homes and into our relationships. Into the difficult moments and into the ordinary moments.
