A reminder that if you are sourcing these from a non medical entity..(make up artists, beauty therapist, gym buddies or online ) they are illegally sourced and like ‘black market’ products and not SAPHRA approved, a good example is retatrutide, a prescription drug that is still in clinical trials (not deemed completely safe as yet, not available for prescription from your pharmacy)This includes getting dermal fillers, btox anti-wrinkle injections from unqualified injectors.
If the injector is not qualified then they are unable to order injectables from authorised distributors in South Africa.
Always ask to see the brand of the product and your injectors qualification . If you are unsure check the HPCSA website.
