We don’t know what’s waiting around the corner.
And honestly, maybe that’s one of the strangest and most beautiful parts of owning a business.
At Roodt Made by Nature, we’re not chasing the biggest version of ourselves.
We’re not dreaming about endless growth, huge warehouses or seeing how much of our process we can hand over to someone else.
Right now, our definition of success is much simpler.
Keep going.
Keep making.
Keep learning.
Keep creating.
Keep improving.
Keep putting our hands into the things we sell.
There is something incredibly special about being small.
It means we know our products intimately. We know what goes into them, why we made them, what we love about them and what we still want to change.
It means we can have an idea on Monday and be experimenting with it by Friday.
It means every bar, bottle, jar and batch still passes through real hands before it reaches yours.
And perhaps most importantly, it means we can build this business around what actually matters to us.
Making things thoughtfully.
Using less.
Choosing better.
Creating products that have a purpose.
And doing business in a way that still feels like us.
The business world is very good at telling us that we should always be looking for MORE.
More products.
More customers.
More followers.
More sales.
More growth.
But we’ve learned that growth doesn’t have to mean becoming something bigger.
Sometimes growth looks like becoming better.
A better product.
A better process.
A better choice.
A little less waste.
A little more intention.
Will Roodt Made by Nature look different five years from now?
Maybe.
We genuinely don’t know.
But for now, we’re incredibly grateful that we get to wake up, make things with our own hands, send them out into the world and know that there are people choosing to bring them into their homes.
So we’ll keep showing up.
One batch.
One order.
One idea.
One day at a time.
And we’ll see what’s around the corner.
